La Toya Lotter-Mallwitz - Office Management
La Toya Shawnté Lotter-Mallwitz is German-American and moved from Würzburg to Berlin with irema's help in September 2008. La Toya Lotter-Mallwitz is responsible for organizing and coordinating our office activities and customer events (our regular social get-together ("Stammtisch"), summer festival, etc.) and provides support to the management and the individual departments.
She is also almost always the friendly voice at the other end of the line who takes your calls. La Toya Lotter-Mallwitz has six years experience working in office administration and speaks both German and English fluently.
Anna Vega de Schoen - Account Management
Anna Vega de Schoen was born in Panama and grew up in Russia and Switzerland. In 1997, she moved to Berlin and has been in charge of account management at irema since 2001. Anna Vega de Schoen has lived abroad a number of different times which means that she has a lot of personal relocation experience and a well-developed sensitivity for other cultures.

As a qualified database developer for FileMaker, Anna Vega de Schoen is heavily involved in the development of our database and the e-Tracking system. Her passion for quality management is a true asset in this area.

Alexandra Gad - Assistant Account Management & Accountancy
Alexandra Gad, born and raised in Berlin, found out first-hand what it means to be an "ex-pat" during her two years in Dubai. After gaining 12 years of experience working in various areas and living abroad, the trained data processing specialist came to irema at the beginning of 2008 and took over responsibility for accounting and expense management. She also supports Anna Vega de Schoen in account management.
Alexandra Gad speaks German and English.
Antje Wielebski - Visa & Immigration Management
Antje Wielebski was born and raised in Saxony. After completing her degree in German language and literature that included a one-year exchange in Prague, she spent some time living in Chile. Antje Wielebski started off her career as an event manager at the Leipzig Book Fair and then worked as an advisor at the immigration office in Leipzig before moving to Berlin in 2008 to take on a job irema. She heads up the Visa & Immigration department and is your contact for absolutely everything that has to do with residency formalities and official matters.
In addition to her native language Antje Wielebski speaks Spanish and English fluently, She also speaks Czech and French.
Esther Weizsäcker - Visa & Immigration Management
Esther Weizsäcker was born in Munich and has lived in Berlin since getting her degree in law. Her professional experience as a lawyer combined with her special focus on immigration law and the recognition of international diplomas and degrees has been an indispensable addition to our Visa & Immigration department where she has worked since the beginning of 2008. She is also your contact for all matters concerning immigration law.
Esther Weizsäcker has lived in both the US and Russia and speaks German, English and Russian.
Claudia Heine - Immigration Management / EU
Claudia Heine, who was born and raised in Berlin, has a lot of experience dealing with people from different cultures. Following a one-year stay in London and completing a degree in English language and literature studies, German language and literature studies in German as a foreign language, she worked for many years teaching German as a foreign language. Claudia Heine works in our Visa & Immigration department and is responsible for the employees in your company who come from EU countries and for official matters relating to your employees.
Our company also benefits from her experiences working in market research where she conducted customer satisfaction studies. Claudia speaks fluent English and German.
Sabina Rütter - Consultant Training & Customer Service
A while back, Sabina Rütter moved from North Rhine Westphalia to Berlin to study ethnology and later German and English language and literature. Even during her studies, she would spend several months at a time in the US, before she was able to pursue her strong interest in people, faraway lands and cultures with more vigor by becoming a flight attendant for British Airways. Indonesia was one stop that turned into more than just a travel destination. Sabina Rütter has moved 20 times which means she is completely familiar with all of the challenges a change in residence means. She has been a consultant at irema for 11 years now.
Sabina Rütter has also been responsible for training our consultants and for customer service and quality assurance since 2007. The skills and experiences she gained in her previous position as a customer service manager at British Airways are absolutely invaluable for these activities.
